Discover Energy-Saving Solutions at Synergy Credit Union’s Energy Master Plan Launch!

Are you looking to make your home, farm, or business more energy-efficient?

Join us for the Synergy Credit Union Energy Master Plan Launch on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy, Co. Cork.

This event is a unique opportunity for members, non-members, community groups, local businesses, and the farming community to explore sustainable energy solutions and learn from experts in the field.

What to Expect:

Our Energy Master Plan, developed in partnership with XD Consulting and guided by SEAI’s Sean Sweeney, is designed to help our community transition to a more sustainable future. To bring this plan to life, we’ve gathered an impressive lineup of exhibitors and speakers who will provide valuable insights and practical advice.

EnergyWise: Specialising in home energy upgrades and retrofits, EnergyWise offers comprehensive solutions to improve your property’s energy efficiency.

Solastech: Discover innovative insulation and heat recovery technologies tailored for both homes and businesses.

Local Enterprise Office: Learn about green business practices, available grants, and other supports that can help your business become more sustainable.

ICSA (Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers' Association): Gain insights into energy-saving measures specifically designed for the agricultural sector.

Avondhu Blackwater Partnership: Hear about local supports and initiatives that promote sustainability and community development.

Teagasc’s Signpost Programme:  Helping farmers achieve sustainability goals by offering expert advice on reducing emissions and adopting climate-friendly practices. The initiative supports the development of action plans to enhance farm sustainability, contributing to Ireland’s target of a 25% reduction in agricultural emissions by 2030.

SE Systems  : Specialises in energy-efficient home upgrades, offering services like external insulation, retrofitting, and heating solutions to improve energy performance. They cater to residential, commercial, and public sector projects across Ireland.

Ashgrove Renewables: They specialise in renewable energy solutions, offering heat pumps, solar panels, and insulation for homes and businesses. Their focus is on energy efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability.

Our Energy Master Plan is rooted in a thorough baseline study conducted across several local areas, including Fermoy, Kilworth, Watergrasshill, Rathcormac, and Cork City. The plan is focused on improving home comfort, supporting sustainable agriculture, enhancing business efficiency, and promoting greener transportation solutions.
