The new Agri Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) payment rates

The new Agri Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) payment rates have been published.

The Department of Agriculture has released the payment rates for the new agricultural environment scheme called ACRES ( subject to EU approval) . This is the scheme that will replace the current GLAS scheme. The ACRES scheme will pay farmers for a wide range of measures.

The Department of Agriculture has also given proposed deadlines for the completion of some of these measures and actions. Some of the deadlines are for 2023 and others depending on the action have a completion date of March 2024 attached.
