Meet Alone In Your local Branch
We’re delighted to welcome ALONE, the national charity supporting older people, into our branches this autumn. If you or someone you know could benefit from their services, this is the perfect chance to drop in for a chat.
When & Where to Meet ALONE
- St. Patrick’s Branch – Wednesday, 18th September, 12pm – 4pm
- Fermoy Branch – Thursday, 10th October, 10am – 2pm
- Watergrasshill Branch – Thursday, 17th October, 10am – 3pm
How ALONE Can Help You or a Loved One
ALONE works with older people to ensure they can live independently, securely, and happily at home. Their team can offer:
- Practical support with housing, health, finance, and everyday challenges.
- Friendly connections through their Befriending Service – regular visits or phone calls from volunteers.
- Safety and independence through technology that helps people stay connected at home.
- Information and guidance on accessing local and national supports.
Why Come Along?
Whether you’re an older person yourself, a family member, a neighbour, or simply someone who wants to know more, ALONE will be here to answer your questions. You can find out how to access their supports, get advice for a loved one, or even explore becoming a volunteer.
We’re proud to host ALONE and give our members the opportunity to connect directly with their team. Together, we can help make sure older people in our communities feel valued, supported, and never alone.
